I love this tote! It's made from a really heavy-duty canvas, yes, but then the printed MARTHA logo exterior kinda seals the fabric (and interior too!--a pretty stripe is printed inside), making it a wee bit 'stiff'--which is actually really great for when you want to lug around a bunch of stuff. It holds its shape nicely (the bottom is very strong and evidently reinforced), and it just feels incredibly durable. So if you are a Martha fan, you will love it. And even if you aren't, this is one of the best totes ever...I used to use an LL Bean one and this one feels more durable.
