The Real Deal Dec 01, 2009
By J. Woodrow Bottom line: this stuff is the real deal! After searching online and reading several reviews we settled on Musher's Secret for our hyperactive Entlebucher. He tends to run recklessly through everything and often dings up his pads every other month, if not more frequently. After using this product for about a month we have noticed an incredible difference in the playability and smoothness of his pads. There are no more cracks and rough areas that lead to tears and cuts in the pad/paw. He doesn't mind having the wax rubbed in (I think he actually enjoys the foot massage) and the wax also helps minimize the amount of debris he brings in after walks. If your pooch has pad issues I highly recommend that you try this product.

Great stuff Jan 21, 2010
By S. Taylor This product works very well. My four(!) Weimaraners love to go for walks in the snow. It's painfully sad to see them virtually crippled by salt on sidewalks, which inevitably means we don't walk. Booties are not an option for my guys ~ they'd never keep them on. I stumbled upon Musher's Secret quite by accident and boy, am I glad I did. Rub this soft wax on their pads and in between their toes and they're good to go. My husband and I walked them around a park that is usually heavily salted and it didn't bother the pooches at all. We were soooo relieved to know we can continue our walks in snowy weather. It does not stain carpets, though they slip a bit on hardwood floors. However, it's a small price to pay to see my dogs enjoy their walks pain free. You will not be disappointed in this purchase ... and neither will your dog!

Musher's Secret Apr 18, 2009
By Geraldine Botkins
"Living in Utah"
I have used Musher's Secret for three years now. I have 1/2 grass and 1/2 rocks in my back yard and live in Utah where it can get quiote hot and very cold, with snow. Musher's protects my Ausy's paws from all are extream weather. I can tell when it is time to put more on because it some how helps to condition too. I have never had Musher's come off or stain (like oil spots)on anything ever from him or my hands I do not often place a review but this is worth it.

This stuff Works Great! Feb 24, 2012
By Gary As an avid snowshoe hiker I have always had problems with my two dogs getting ice balls stuck between their toes and pads. After about a mile They would always stop and start licking their feet, which made matters worst. I would constantly have to clean their feet over and over in order to keep going. I tried everything. Pam cooking spray, yeah that lasted about 50 feet. Vasoline kinda works but what a mess it makes of the truck and house, and it doesn't last long. First time I tried this we did a 4 mile snowshoe and not a lump of ice in sight. I use it all the time now and have not had one problem with ice build up between their toes and pads since. The only complaint I got was from the groomer that said the dogs feet were filthy. It does collect a lot of dirt when walking them around town. And! The dogs love getting it rubbed into their feet almost as much as I love rubbing it into their feet. (Does that sound weird?) Never mind. I will always use this product in the winter, no doubt about it.

Works Great Jan 17, 2011
By Howard C. Jensen We have had a lot of snow this year in the Northern Midwest so foot protection is a big issue. I walk my Golden Retriever about 3 to 4 miles every day. On the weekends, we hunt upland game birds if the snow is not too deep. My Golden would get snow balls between his pads. causing him to stop, sit down, pull and lick at his feet. I tried boots of all types and even baby socks. The boots would either not fit or get lost in the snow. The baby socks worked the best of all, but I had to tape the socks to his feet. This is a difficult proposition for a long coated dog with thick leg feathering like a Golden. Keeping snow from balling up between his pads made our daily walks and hunting trips less than enjoyable. I also tried Vasoline and tuff skin. Nothing really worked. Now, with Musher's Wax, snow balls between the pads are a thing of the past, even in heavy, fluffy snow. The Wax does not stain floors or rugs. It feels great on my hands also.
