Martha Stewart 2 Cup Fat Gravy Separator

This product is currently out of stock

The fat separator looks like a measuring cup, but the spout is much lower to the bottom so the fat stays behind as you pour the liquid. Reserve warm pan juices from a cooked roast by carefully pouring them into the fat separator. The fat will rise to the top as the liquid cools, and the dark flavorful drippings will stay on the bottom. Use these drippings to make a gravy or sauce. Enjoy!!

  • 2 cup capacity

  • removes fats & oils from pan juices

  • dishwahser safe

3It works good.  Dec 10, 2011

It works fine but the lid does not stay on .. It's loose. You could see the fat going to the top and you pour out the juice ... but stop pouring when you get close to the fat or you will end up with the fat BACK into your sauce or soup. I made soup and I was able to remove most of the fat with this device. This is not a bad buy ... I just would like the lid to snap in better ... It's too loose.

I felt really desappointed when I used this at the first time, because I spent my money for nothing as this separator doesn't do the job, acting just as a common colander and mine is still better than this one. I don't recommend for anyone. Even was a cheap stuff, doesn't work.
