I really want to like it. Apr 21, 2010
By jmontana I do. I like the idea of an environmentally conscious detergent. But it just doesn't work. Every time I've done a load with this, the dishes are at best covered in a gritty film, and at worst, as if I hadn't washed them at all.
I've tried adding more detergent, running on the hot water cycle, etc. Nothing makes a difference. The only way it will clean is if you clean the dishes by hand yourself first. (No, I'm not exaggerating. And yes, this is silly.)
I've tried other detergents, and they work great, so it's not an issue with my dishwasher or my water. It just simply doesn't work.
This bums me out, cause I like Martha Stewart products in general, but I simply cannot recommend this product to anyone.

DOESN'T CLEAN! Mar 18, 2010
By lv2read I tried Martha Stewart's CLEAN Dishwasher detergent and everytime I unloaded the dishwasher, dishes, glasses, silverware were still filthy. It was as if I added NO detergent. Really bad product. They should actually do a recall because it's a rip off - it simply doesn't work! I tried the following load with another detergent and dishes came out perfectly clean. Definitely MS CLEAN was the problem!

You Will Be Shocked...... Sep 07, 2010
By J. Lightsey You will honestly be shocked at how horribly this product cleans dishes. I'm always looking for products that work great and are environmentally responsible. This product simply does not work.

I really like it Jan 26, 2012
By L. Mccutcheon I really like it. I have used all the green products for a dishwasher on the market, and this one works best. Doesn't leave a film. I do rinse all my dishes before I load them. Maybe the others who did not like it don't rinse well. Green dishwashing detergent is hard to get used to if you are used to loading the dishwasher with un-rinsed dishes, and using a detergent with bleach and chemicals to pry of the dried food. If you simply rinse first, this cleans well, no spots or film. I love it.

The worst cleaning product ever! Jan 20, 2011
By amyjane Like another reviewer commented, I want to like it. I try to buy products that are environmentally and personally safe for my family, but this product simply doesn't work. If it's possible, my dishes look dirtier than before I washed them due to the residue that's left behind. I wish I could have given it no stars, but the minimum is one. Stick to arts and crafts, Martha!
