1Too thick  Jan 25, 2010
By mcarthur6
I also found this product messy and too thick. It would sit like a gooey lump in my HE softener dispenser.
I tried adding water to it and it didn't help. I won't be using the rest of this product. Such a waste.
Disappointing for Martha Stewart products.

5I love this stuff!  Nov 24, 2011
By D. Burt "Bibliophile Mama"
I picked up this stuff on sale at our local Grocery Outlet and now I'm hooked! Yes, it is rather thick, as other reviewers have noted. It comes out of the handy little pump just fine though. I put it right into a Downy Ball and throw it in my top-loading (NOT HE) washing machine. The clothes smell great - really they smell "clean" rather than scented - and they are so soft! The clothes are much softer than they were with Downy, a product I've used and liked for years.

1Not for me  Dec 08, 2009
By soulatpeace
This product does not perform well for me. The softener is messy and thick so when it goes into the dispenser and is time to be added to the water, it gets stuck there and not much really gets to the water. I've tried adding it to the water directly but clothes dont come out soft. The amount of product, performance and cost does not equal a good deal. I preferred seventh generation softener.

5Great Fabric Softener  Feb 03, 2012

This softener is great! Yes, it is thick but I use the downy ball which works really well: Add the softener to the line indicated then fill the rest of the ball with water and make sure to shake well so it is completely diluted. Toss it in the wash as normal. It works great. I love that it has very few ingredients, it's environmentally friendly and vegan!

1Dont use this in your HE washer  Dec 18, 2011
By louannsbusy
This product is much too thick and doesnt break down and dissolve. We had to have a repairman in to tell us why our HE washer wasnt working.....you guessed it......Martha did it. I love Martha but she sure did goo up the washer. It took quite a while to get the stuff completely out with the help of HOT washing and white vinegar, but it has again turned into a fabulous cleaning machine. I started using the sheets (unscented)
