Very Average Knife Set Dec 23, 2009

For a Knife set under $40...they're OK, but I expected more. The Steak knives ARE rather good, and there are 8 of them, Otherwise, these seem like very generic knives. The blades aren't very sharp, and the block on mine came with lots of flaws. For the price, you get what you pay for, but I would not ever pay the full retail of $79 for this set. If you are expecting these to be as nice as, say, Henkel knives, you will be disappointed. But, if you are on a budget and you need some knifes to get you by for a while, this might work ok.
