I love this stock pot Sep 02, 2012

Reading the other reviews, I must be the odd one out, but my stock pot is excellent. I've had it for 2 years and use it for a lot of canning and making soups. It's very heavy, nice thick sides, and doesn't burn. I love the vented glass lid too, I don't have to open it up to see how whatever I'm cooking is progressing. I got on Amazon looking for another one (preferably larger) and was surprised at the other reviews. I use mine very frequently and on a gas cooktop. Now I just want a 20 or 24 qt version.

just what we were looking for Mar 19, 2010
By E. Gerschutz My husband does a lot of cooking and needed a pot that had a good solid bottom to heat well on our flat top stove. This pot is heavy but very well made and will be very useful for freezing sweet corn this summer or making vegetable soup.

Poor Quality Dec 13, 2010
By Sheryl I just went to Macy's to touch and feel Martha's Line of Cookware. I was looking for the 20 Quart pot. I put it back due to the light weight. Very cheaply made. Surprised that Martha put her name on this cookware. Horrible. Went with Cuisinart Multi-Clad Pro instead.
