2excellent - until I had to buy replacement blades...  Mar 05, 2011
By fan of quality products "turmfalke22"
I've had this trimmer for about two weeks now and used it quite a bit. No problems so far, and when I cut thinner paper with punched edges I start from the middle on out to avoid ripping the delicate edges. The knife is still sharp and cuts easy, and the trimmer feels solid for the size. Pleased with it, hopefully it'll be easy to purchase replacement blades.

Update, 4-28-11:
I've had to severely downgrade my rating based on the terrible replacement blades: they shred the paper rather than cutting it, the posts don't fit into the opening without force, and last night the blade protector slipped off while I was trying to get the ill fitting replacement blade out again and deeply cut the side of my index finger. None of the thus far six replacement blades have worked smoothly as did the original one. I bought the replacement blades at Michaels, and the package says "for the paper trimmer".

Since I'll be looking for a new trimmer I have to say this one is a waste of money based on its short life.

5Excellent trimmer!  Jan 30, 2011
By Aya
Thts is the trimmer I should have bought long ago. The other trimmer I use to use was just a waste of money . Wish I had seen this before. It would have saved me alot of mistakes. Every thing about the trimmer is very precise and has so much to offer as far as making well made crafts.

5One of the best trimmers you can find for the price  Sep 17, 2011
By SGamgee
I have tried my share of several different cutters including the a kind that purchased from an art store for $30-40. Compared to what I previously owned, this cutter at under $20 (I actually purchased it for $12 from a one day sale from Michael's)and works much better than other cutters you will find elsewhere. Also, this trimmer comes with a very decent scorer(perfect if you are simply making cards, not envelopes). Unlike the other cutters there that have no replacement parts for the cutter, you have the option of buying replacement blades (comes in a three pack). Additionally, this cutter doesn't take up a lot of space (has a part that expands for larger sheets) and is very light-weight. It was one of the best purchases I've made for crafts. Highly recommended.

1Do NOT waste your money!!  Oct 14, 2011
By Julia
I wasted 25.00 on this thing! It worked great until I needed a new blade and there are none to be found anywhere! The stores that sell this do not carry any blades and just look at me when I ask about them. So now I have to toss it out and go back to my old Fiskars brand one. At least I can get blades for it easily! This was a ripoff!
