Martha Stewart Heart punch Mar 17, 2012
By shoefashionista Very nice punch; blade is sharp as well. The punch separates into 2 pieces, top and bottom, which allows one to place the punch anywhere on the paper, regardless of the paper's size. Once the base is placed, the top portion is secured to the bottom piece by strong magnets. Cool punch!

Semi useful Aug 08, 2012
By Karen Vare The punch is great for regular paper, but when using card stock it leaves the corners bent and not properly cut. After a few uses the spring within the punch breaks and it's so sealed it can't be opened to fix it. I've bought several of these punches, but in the long run I feel they are over priced and faulty. It's far better to use a machine like Spellbinders or Cuttlebug with dies.

Returned May 07, 2012
By Linda I bought this item over Amazon. I didn't like it because I thought the heart was too big, perhaps 3/4" large. I wanted cute little hearts. Also, I prefer a regular punch. This punch came in 2 seperate pieces which is how you are able to punch anywhere on the page but I didn't like the feature. I returned it to my local Micheals for store credit.
Good Product, Good Sized Hearts, a bit difficult to cut with different papers Mar 11, 2013
By Phtas10 I purchased this item a few weeks ago and have been using in on different papers. I used it on vellum and it made a great clearn cut. Then I used it on card stock, it was a bit difficult to punch and had to press down twice to ensure an accurate cut. The cuts were pretty clean, though one out of 20 or so had rough edges. But for the most part, it is exactly as describes. It's easy to move around paper as it has 4 strong magnets; however, it you cut small card stock, you need to properly position the paper and then hold it with one finger in place, then let the top touch down on the magnets (it has a strong pull), sometimes the paper moves and you need to reposition it, which is a pain. The size of the hearts are fairly a bit size, but perfect for cut outs where you will put something in the middle or use as confetti around larger items on tables. I cut out pieces of cardstock to use for some wine charms attachments, and then used the centered cut out hearts for the top of favor boxes. Which you get two in one use. It's difficult to handle if you do not use it on a table. I tried to do it by hand on several occassions, but found it easier to use against a hard surface and press down. What's great about it, is if you keep it in place and just move the paper, you get a nice neat stack of hearts that you can use for later. Downfall, some times the pieces do not align just right and it takes a couple of tries to get it to work. Also, if you are using sparkly type cardstock, it is easier to put the flat side against the bottom of the stamp and the sparkly side towards the top because the paper does not move around as much.
Very efficient Mar 04, 2013
By Staci Daniel Love being able to punch anywhere on a page. Great to use the hearts as well as the "heartless" paper that's left!
