Big disappointment May 13, 2011
What a big disappointment. This punch does not punch individual letters, or enable you to punch out a message. Instead each punch just punches half the alphabet, and you're left with tiny letters to arrange yourself. You can't create "negative space." The best and only description of what it does is one of the photos on the package, which shows a little pile of letters. I actually held this item in my hand before I bought it, and was convinced that there was a way to choose the letter you wanted. If you have arthritis or are a bit clumsy, forget it. It's a waste of time and an even bigger waste of money.

not as advertised Mar 17, 2013

I got the impression that the letters could be punched out individually, in order, for example, to write someone's name on a paper. Letters come all together in 2 groups.

I purchased the small alphabet punch and find it really handy for all kinds of projects.
I use it in cardmaking and scrapbooking. An excellent item and would recommend to all crafty people

Use it making cards. Apr 15, 2014
The letters are a little smaller than what I wanted. I gave it a 4 because it will not cut well on thick paper.

Worked for me! Oct 26, 2012
Needed a lot of pressure, but then again, its's a big punch. All letters punched out completely; perfect little size letters.
