Almost perfect! Sep 09, 2011
By Charity Crabtree The puncher creates a very nice image, and I can even cut out the punched part and use it for a silhouette, which is an exciting (and hoped for) bonus.
The problem arises when I try to create a seamless edge made up of the birds on a wire. I follow the directions and the guidelines, but since I'm trying to line up a tiny wire with a tiny wire, it is very difficult to get a seamless wire.
Also, to point out the obvious, please note that you can only get the birds on the wire at the top of the paper - they will be upside down at the bottom. It makes sense but I didn't think about it when I ordered it. I was thinking I would be able to just have birds on the bottom edge of the paper. Silly me.
Overall, though, I'm very happy with it. The design is very cute and the punch is consistent.

Great design... Sep 04, 2012
By Carole I kept checking my local craft stores hoping that this punch would show up in their inventory. I wanted to see it in person, and possibly buy it on sale (or with a coupon).
It's the one design that never showed up.
I find it difficult to spend $15 on a paper punch of any kind, but I've wanted this one for a long time. Not long ago I purchased a larger edge punch that works very well, so I finally decided to take the plunge with this one.
This punch offers a very crisp image (I've had many that do not even when brand new), is easy to use, and I love the fact that it has a guideline for continuous punching across the page.
That said, I also have some problems with punching a seamless design, but I'm hoping that will get better with practice. For most of my crafting needs I'll be punching out individual pieces and using those on other things.

Like all other MS punches this one is beautiful. I've completed several scrapbook pages using this punch and have received lots of compliments. It's a keeper!

Fun Punch! May 18, 2011

This is a really cute punch to use on Cards, scrapbook page, on clothing, etc. There are so many uses for this punch! Martha Stewart punches are very easy to line up so the end result is perfect! I can't say enough about Martha Stewart punches, so much easier to use than other punches. This is a buy because it is so cute and so many ways to embellish it, put eyes on the birds, color in their feathers or just leave them plain, either way this is a very cute punch!

I love my little bird punch for making cards. It can be used as an edge, or a string of little birds.
