 Craft punch is difficult and broke after using a few times Jun 13, 2012

My wife and I bought this to create some cards for a cousin's wedding. We were looking forward to this very much as we had been looking around for a nice design and finally found it. The punch arrived soon and we began our craft project for the wedding cards. Was very difficult to get it punch through. It gets stuck occasionally and finally after a while, the punch started acting weird and couldn't punch through anymore. The whole punch just stopped working properly. After investigating the punch, we realised that the punch hinge (the part where it connects to the base plate) have totally broken off!!! We were shocked! Utterly disappointed with the quality. We didn't even dropped it or punch cardboard stuff... we decide to grab a new one from a local store which is of a different design. What a waste of money... sigh... - Shem, Singapore.

I picked this up with a coupon at Michael's yesterday to accent cards. Easy to line up, takes a little umphh to push it down on cardstock but the results are really beautiful. Not sure if all of them do it, but when I used it on 20lb copy paper the punch got stuck and I had to pry it open with a screwdriver. That isn't a problem with the heavier paper, though. Design is eye-catching and timeless, recommended!

The punch is easy to use, and creates beautiful boarders. I use it with the various "boarder" paper pads. The punch fits all the ones I've seen. One warning though; punch out your boarder over a large piece of paper. This punch produces a ton of minute bits of paper that you will HAVE to vacum up.
