I was so excited to get this - in Canada they're $30, so I combined a coupon and some savings to get it :) It worked well at first, but not that well on copy paper; just cardstock. That was fine. But after using it for one project, it started 'sticking' on the second and I'd have to wait a while between punches and then try to pry it apart. The third project was horrible. It took forever for the pieces to 'pop' apart, and now it's permanently stuck and no longer usable. I'm going to bring it back, but I'm pretty disappointed considering I expect MS to have good quality, especially considering the price.

This is one of my 3 (so far!) Martha Stewart punch all over the page punches. I just love them! You can punch a pattern anywhere on a page, not just at the corner or on the edge. The magnets make it easy to line up the top and base of the tool before punching, and the hole in the base makes it possible to position the punch (if you turn it upside down) just where you want.
This punch also has an guide that makes it easy to align the punched bits against the base so that you can create a continuous line of punched patterns. This is a great feature that I wish other brands will soon add! I was able to create a stencil from several aligned punched patterns, thanks to that alignment guide.
I love this design and my punch has always worked well on my first punch on a page. However, I occasionally have trouble pressing down on the tool for a consecutive punch when I align the punched portions against the base. This happens even when the magnets click into place. But it usually works again when I pull the top and base apart and start again, so perhaps I'm doing something wrong although I can't figure out what. The punch does work without issue otherwise on both copy paper and card stock.
