2Does not punch all the way through  Mar 21, 2013
By Christine F. Qualey
Please note that, although I did not purchase this punch through Amazon, the punch is disappointing because it does not punch all the way through. The only way to get a full ladybug punch-out is to use embroidery scissors to cut it loose from the paper, defeating the purpose of the punch. I have experienced this with other double punches (snowflake, pumpkin, jack-o-lantern) marketed by Martha Stewart. I like the look of the owl punch but would be disinclined to buy it due to the aforementioned problem.

4Not that bad  Oct 05, 2013
By C.P.
I see there is a two star review on here. I do agree that the ladybug doesn't punch all the way through, however, I'm just using regular scrap booking paper and a little thicker paper and I just use a little force as I'm pulling it away from the paper and it comes off clean almost every time. This is a cute punch.

1Don't bother -- get another brand of ladybug punch!  Apr 25, 2014
By ladybug53
This is such a disappointment!! Really a waste of money. I'm shocked the Martha Stewart quality control crew gave this a pass. The paper gets stuck in the puncher after punching it. Then, to add insult to injury, the ladybug has to be pulled or cut off in two! different places....the 2 sides... after you finally wrestle it out of the punch, to be a finished product. So inefficient! See other reviews, they say the same thing.

Too many steps to take on what *should* be zipzipdone.

On the other hand, the Martha Stewart large monarch butterfly punch I bought the same week is flawless, gorgeous and drama free.

2Disappointing punch  Jun 20, 2014
By AuntMargie
This is one of two paper punches I own (out of nearly 100) that doesn't work.
The bug body never completely cuts through the paper. I have to cut it free from the sheet. And the antennae are hopeless. By the time i cut them free, I've lost interest in the project I'm making.
I have the Martha Stewart owl embossed punch. It is the same shape and size as this and it has additional embossing feature. It works perfectly. This one is just terrible.
