I bought this Martha Steward dry embossing kit at a military PX (post exchange) overseas. I immediately purchased this kit because the templates are very elegant and tasteful compared to what I have seen -- and purchased -- before in craft stores in the U.S. This weekend, I took out the product to use to create a card for a colleague who was hosting a dinner at her home. The card was meant to embellish the outside of a thank you card. Unfortunately, I wasted several hours trying to dry emboss these stencils onto the cards that come with the package. The embossing tool is simply too large for the small details on the stencils, rendering the entire product useless. I hope that Martha Steward, who entered the card craft movement late, will improve on this product because the actual style of the stencils is quite nice.

I like this kit, mine came with several different designs on the template (I'm not sure why the other person said in their review that there were only 2, maybe it's an older version). Anyhow, most of the designs are too small to fit the stylus (either end) that comes with the kit, so I am currently looking for something else so that I can use all of these embossing templates. If I could find a way to use them it would be great. The kit should've come with another stylus that's small enough to emboss with all of the templates.

This product is exactly what I was looking for. It was shipped quickly. While there are only two templates in the kit, they are versatile and can be used to make several cards/papers that look very different. Very happy with this purchase
