Love this color Jan 22, 2013
By Shala Kerrigan Generally I buy the sets of Martha Stewart glitters, then fill in with the colors that I use the most often. This is one of those colors.
Martha Stewart glitter is uniformly fine, high sparkle with a lot of colors inspired by gems. Most of them are very true to the original gem color including this one.
It's more black than grey, but a lighter, metallic black like the stone hematite. Like all Martha Stewart glitters I've tried so far, the color is very stable and doesn't bleed in resin or in PVA glues.
This is a nice "near black" option for a vintage look on Halloween cards and decor and also works well in small touches as an accent with almost any color. Using it on a black background, there is enough contrast to see it easily.
Great for nails too Oct 02, 2011
By Emma Story This works really well as nail glitter. I sprinkled it on a still-wet coat of black nail polish and topped it with a coat of clear, and it looks awesome.
