Purchased for paper shredding Aug 10, 2011
By Greatgrandma Gail I purchased this to shred papers while I open the mail. The standard paper shredders took up too much room in my small house. These scissors do the job quickly and easily. I'm very pleased. For those that have to be doing something all the time, they now have these craft scissors to make fringes on all the junk mail. I think it might be therapeutic.

Hurts hands Mar 18, 2012
By travels10 This was supposed to an extra cool craft item and fringe etc. but without guide blades to align the shaggy cuts its frustrating and worse these scissors really cramp one's hands so badly you almost have to do just one project a day to heal. I have since found the identical scissors brand new on Ebay and local craft shops with a coupon much cheaper than here. The scissors are just OK; not anything outstanding in my opinion and I have been a professional crafter for years. It's NOT comfortable to use these for more than 20 minutes......best to buy pre-cut fringe papers/cardstock. It certainly won't be of any use to those suffering from carpral tunnel

Great Crafting Tool Jan 27, 2012
By Dana Leahy These scissors are stellar. I used them only for adding fringe to folded paper and card stock. They worked well on all the paper I tried, no matter the thickness. I will say that they get a little uncomfortable if you're going to be doing a lot of cutting, but I think this is because of the weight of the metal part and the thickness of the handle. It could be worse though. I ended up wrapping some gauze around the thumb hole and that made them a lot more comfortable.
