Cling it did May 17, 2011

I wouldn't call this a "cling", it really has a sticky backing and it did cling and pull off paint when it was removed. I didn't have a lot of trouble placing it on the wall surface, and I loved the way it looked while it was up. It just didn't want to come off without taking paint with it. That meant it was a one-time only use and not what I'd hoped for in the end. I had to patch and paint the surface which wasn't a big deal, but should not, and usually will not, occur with a genuine "cling".

I was so excited when I bought this wall cling, and even more impressed after I put it up--it looked FANTASTIC!! If only I had known that when I went to take it down today, it would take ALL the paint off the wall as I pulled each piece off. I now have a completely destroyed wall in my living room, and will have to spend lots of time and $$ to patch and re-paint it. I will never EVER recommend Martha Stewart products to anyone. I am waiting for a response from the company about it. If it were possible, I would rate this ZERO stars!

I purchased two witches to place on my stair case opposite each other. The two pieces that make up the body of the witch did not line up, however, the overall look was great. Then I went to take the witches down and they took the paint with it. I feel that I was tricked instead of treated for Halloween. This is my first and last Martha Stewart product purchase.

I am furious! This product looked great until I went to take it down. Upon removing the wall cling it also pulled the paint off my wall! I purchased the Halloween wall cling as a Halloween decoration, not something that would be on my wall forever....it should be easy to remove without causing damage to my home. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! Not only will have to paint my entire wall, I will first have to patch the numerous places where several layers of paint were removed. If it were possible, I would give this product negative stars.
