disappointed Dec 04, 2010
By M. Thompson
If you are looking for nice colors these stamp pads do come through. However, in construction, this item was seriously disappointing. First, mine arrived one stamp pad short. Second, the nice little stack comes apart easily, leading to many, many, many occasions where they fall apart from each other and make a mess everywhere. Did I remember to say MANY? And there is no way to store them separately as they are each the cover to the next color. Also, the stickers you place on the plastic edge...well...if you place the nautical blue sticker on its own edge (which is below its pad rim) it ends up in front of the next color down (Forget-Me-Not blue) so that you either have to put the color sticker on the plastic of the case above it or have it loom over another color altogether. If you place it on the one above, keep in mind all those times they fall apart you have to put them back in the right order or the sticker will be on some other color. Did I remember to say MANY? Argh!
I assumed buying a name brand item would result in a higher quality product. Highly disappointed.

exactly what i was looking for Dec 30, 2010
By Christy Pugh
i bought this ink pad set a few days before my wedding (nothing like last minute!) so that i could do a wedding guest tree with my guest's thumbprints. It was great! everyone had fun picking out their different ink color, it was easy to take off and the tree looks great even thought it's been a few months. the only negative is that one of the blue's is very very light, but guests who wanted that one just chose a different color. no biggie. i gave the ink pad set to my SIL and she's using it to record her son's foot and handprints (it's easy bc you can tap the ink pad on the foot without having to have them stand up or something on it)
not worthy of Martha's name Dec 04, 2011
Usually, you can count on Martha to have THE best quality goods. Unfortunately, that's not the case with these. You have to ink the same stamp at least 3 times for a quality image. Then, it's still quite light. If you are looking for a subtle image, go with these. Otherwise, buy Staz-On ink pads.
