They don't stick! Mar 25, 2011
By las dance I was happy to shell out the cash for this cute little item. I've just remodeled my kitchen and was so looking forward to filling and labeling my new spice jars. But all the labels are gone. Gone! Wasted on my brand new spice jars because they don't stick to glass. I even put clear shipping tape on top of each label to get them to stick, but the next morning, "zwing!" all the labels' ends were sticking straight out like surf boards on a Hawaiian wave. Don't waste your money on these pretty little things if you want to use them on glass. (And yes, I know they're supposed to be used for scrapbooking, but come on... These should be fair game for creative use!)
Actually, two labels were salvaged. Ironically, they stuck to the cheap plastic containers I bought from Walmart. At least my oatmeal has a Martha Stewart charm to it.
Martha! Shame on your producers for such shoddy craftsmanship. Send me labels that stick.
