Sweet - but a little disappointed Apr 07, 2011
These are gorgeous - nicely made, delicate and sweet. However, I bought these for my wedding which has a lavender/purple theme - but two out of the six lanterns in the packet are baby girl pink! Won't be able to use those ones, so that's a little disappointing. Perhaps they should be labeled as "Martha Stewart Lanterns - Purple/Pink Accordion" to be a little more accurate?

Color not as advertised Jan 17, 2012
By J Huff
I was so excited for these lanterns as I was going to use them to decorate my (color-specific) nursery. When I took them out of the package, I was really disappointed that there were more pink lanterns than purple. BE AWARE that two lanterns (a small and large one) are purple, two are pinkish-purple, and two are straight up PINK! Since my nursery is specifically purple and I was avoiding pink all together, I can only use 2, possibly 4 of the 6. If you don't mind the pink then they're probably a great buy. They look beautiful and are simple to assemble. However, if you're going by the product description of 'purple lanterns' you may be as disappointed as I was.

elegant, sets the mood! Oct 19, 2011
These were perfect for setting the mood I wanted! It was for my daughters 1st bday party with punk and purple decor and I love how the room glowed of pink and purple with these! They are hugh quality and look very classy compared to other lanterns ive seen. The design also makes it easy to fold and unfold for later use. These are PAPER lanterns though so you do need to handle with care. If you dont hang them well and thet crash down to the floor te delicate pleats will get dented. YOu can fix it by pressing out again, but some dents are permanent. Just be careful and make sure you have them attached securely before continuing with all of them. I used white string to hang them and attached them with packaging tape to the ceiling.
