Beautiful Punch outs but leaves a lot of unused paper and needs a lot of force to use Feb 12, 2010
By J It is a very detailed cut out of a butterfly. You need a good amount of force to actually get it the cutout. A child would not be able to use it. It also wastes a lot of paper. The square that keeps the metal plates for the cut out does not allow for maximum paper use. It is a little on the heavy side but you are purchasing a large punch out. Overall, with patience, I enjoy this product. I really love butterflies so I'm happy.

works very well Feb 25, 2011
By bj_on_amazon i bought this and used it to punch quite literally hundreds of butterflies for my friends baby shower. After a good deal of use it still works well. I own many paper punches, and this one works just as easily as the others i have. it's a cute design and a very versatile size. i used it for invitations, cupcake toothpick toppers, and magnets. i thought it was an economical purchase considering all the places i used it.

Lattice Butterfly Punch Aug 04, 2010
By C. L. Paulissen I purchased this punch after I failed to find it in any stores I visited. I love the lattice look to this butterfly and it cuts clean and with little pressure. I highly recommend it.

pain with cardstock but looks pretty Jul 23, 2010
By Liz Nemer I bought this to make a mobile. I used cardstock from michaels. It is a little tough to punch through but it eventually works. If you have patience then its fine. Not another one like it out there so you just deal.
Gorgeous, Intricate Butterfly Apr 19, 2012
By Elise Iran love this punch! Absolutely gorgeous. I just started started crafting (card making and mini albums) a few months ago, and this was the first punch I picked up. After watching several youtube videos, and seeing this beautiful punch on layouts, cards, mini albums, etc., I knew I had to own it. What makes it intricate are the various small cutouts that create a pattern within the wings. These cutouts do not waste alot of paper. They are quite small in size, and many are mere dots and thin lines. This punch works on cardstock, but not with cereal box weight "chipboard". I would list this punch as a necessity along with adhesives, paper, and a trimmer! It's not hard on my hands (in comparison to fiskars 3-1 punch). It does require pressure to punch out, but nothing extreme. If you're 'on the fence' about purchasing this punch, I would definitely tell you to give it a go~! It's lovely!
