This tape is much more glossy than I thought it would be. It still has a slightly waxy look to it like regular masking tape or Japanese washi paper tape, but it is far glossier than either and does not feel waxy at all. Some people might like it better, but it has a much different look than I thought it would. The shiny glossiness looks a bit tackier to me and does not look as good for all the applications I would use other paper tapes. I still like it a lot and will use it for many things, but I am a tad disappointed. It is still a wonderful product, but if you are used to other types of paper tape you might want to find it in a craft store first or at least be aware that it is a little bit shiny.

My kids and I made a "book" for my husband for Father's Day. Thank you Pinterest for the awesome idea! :) We used this paper tape for the binding (covering up staples) and it was awesome!

I've been collecting a lot of the tapes for various projects that I'm doing. Using the beautiful tape is an easy way to dress something up without a lot of cost or time. This mix is actually prettier in person. It's bright yet soft and I've used it for a couple of projects that I'm working on. I also think the value is right for what it is.

I expected the "paper tape" to be more like washi tape, but it's more crinkly and stiff than I was expecting.
