 The double arches look very pretty, but doesn't work on a thick paper. Jun 11, 2011

I bought this to decorate my daughter's wedding reception card and the program. I only used the double arches and used it for the top edges of the cards and programs. It needs a little practice but was easy to apply and they turned out very pretty!! We like it.
I did not use the corner pattern because it did not cut well. Especially the top part of the outer loop did not cut out completely, I had to pull the paper out by hand then the loop may break. It works fine with a regular copy paper but it gets stuck if you try it on a thick paper. I wish this set is sold separately, then I would just buy the double arches.

I thought this punch set was beautiful and perfect for our project. Got through about 20 punches, then the corner punch stopped cutting cleanly. Tried the tips Martha Stewart's web site suggested (heavy duty aluminum foil and wax paper) multiple times, but never got another clean cut. Had to send the set back and try a different pattern. Apparently, this is a very common problem since the star rating on this one is much lower than on other punches.

Dulls quickly...very disappointed Jul 25, 2012

I had to purchase and return this item once because although it worked great right out of the box... it dulled quickly after punching the corners of 5 or 6 pieces. Eventually a bit of the metal on one of the curved edges broke off. There is no direction in the box with regards to caring and maintaining this tool. If there is a way to keep the tool working as purchased I would LOVE it. Right now I'm looking at redesigning the album I was working on (remaking my parents 50th wedding album) as well as repurchasing a lot of paper that was ruined with this particular punch. I'm just hoping I can return it a second time. Not a happy camper!

The design of this punch is very pretty. The corner punches look, and work really well. The side punch also works well and looks really nice, however, when using the two punches to go around a piece of paper, they don't really match up. The directions give sizes for the paper for which the pattern will work, but it is a little off, so in order to make it perfect, or close to perfect, you will have to practice first and figure out the measurements that work out. Even though the difference between the given measurement and the measurement that works is really small, the mistake in the pattern will be very obvious.

This product is super fun and the results look amazing. The way that you line everything up is designed really well but it is still tough to get it perfect. I also recommend using thicker paper.
