5Why didn't I find this sooner  Mar 12, 2013
By Megan Van Gilder
Doing felt project that requires me to put holes in the felt and scissors wouldn't leave a nice circular hole. I looked online hoping the crafting community would have an answer and I all the answers pointed to a leather punch( tried them didn't work) Did more research and found this. I just tried it and am thrilled. Just the one thing that, I would say needs improvement is, that the "bits" for it are loose. I know me and I will loose them easily but nothing a plastic baggy wont fix!

1wasted my money  Dec 16, 2012
By Anne D. Norvilla
MS screw punch broke after using it about 5 times. It's mostly made of plastic that is painted to look like metal. A real japanese screw punch is what I should have purchased instead of the faux one. I love most of MS products, but you have to look at all products to see if something is "real" or not.

1Doesn' do the job.  Oct 15, 2012
By Jerry R. Martin "jerryrmartin.com"
Product arrived today and I took it out to my workshop. Started with thin aluminum. Did not punch through it. How thin is the thin metal it says it can punch through? Tried it on cardboard with a foam backing. Punched through the cardboard but the hole was still filled. The blank didn't get into the tool as it should. Tried it on styrene-based foam and pulled off a hole but it was not clean and way too big. Tried changing bits. Still not making clean holes. The caveat seems to be that you need one of Martha's "self-healing" cutting mats to make this thing work right. Bummer! I was all geared up to make clean holes in card stock, foam and aluminum. To all the four-star reviewers: you must know something I don't. Live and learn.

5Great for book binding!  Mar 22, 2011
By Hope Wilbanks "Hope Wilbanks"
I bought this screw punch to use for my first book binding experiment. It is perfect for this! I used it to punch holes through a stack of (thick) papers and then through a fabric cover I made for the journal. It was super easy to use and punch the holes. Love it and will use it for more book making adventures!

5great little punch  Jun 03, 2011
By L. Jackson
I've only made a couple craft projects with this punch but I really like it. Of course, I have a tendency to buy things that capture my interest and then never use them...I think it's called pride of ownership. But with this little gadget, I've found it's well-made and quite easy to change the size of the punch size. Easy to operate and beautiful results. All in all, I'm very happy with it.
