Bit awkward Jun 15, 2013
Great concept, but for the price, a bit lacking. Shapes of starfish and sand dollar are great, but punch is not as easy to use as others. I prefer the punches which lie flat on the surface, with a button style, rather than handheld lever style, much easier to exert even pressure and make many punches without hand pain. Starfish punches clean, but sand dollar edge sticks in two places, as other reviewer mentioned. Fine if paper is thick enough, but thinner paper tends to rip.
Found punch easy to use. Aug 04, 2014

Other reviews gave some less than stellar reviews on this item. I found this punch to make clean punches with the star from the middle separated cleanly and being ejected out the bottom of the punch. The sand dollar is punched with 2 tiny spaces in tact so you can slide the paper out from the punch & then separate the figure from the larger sheet. I think making two figures at a time from one punch, it would have to work this way. I am very pleased with these cute figures ---- excellent to sprinkle around tables for a beach wedding.
Not so great double punch Mar 31, 2013

Does not punch completely, doesn't work at all on some textured papers! Be careful, what paper you plan to use.
Beautiful paper punch. Probably not for excessive use. Feb 06, 2013
Product worked as described. The paper star fish punches are really pretty and are easy to punch out of the paper after you use the product. I used this for an added charm to my wedding invitations. Thus, I had to punch out about 100 of these babies. Towards the end, I noticed the hole punch starting to stick when I pressed down. I was always able to get it to release, and it never broke (thank goodness!), but I was concerned that it might either break or get stuck.
Overall, it is a great product and I would recommend it.
No good Aug 21, 2014

I was so excited to get this in the mail for my wedding invitations. The punch is difficult to use and mangles the paper in the process. The cut is almost not sharp enough so it isnt a clean cut. I would steer clear of this punch and find a substitute. You get what you pay for.
