I bought this for birthday actually but it would work well for a wedding. It's white with a bit of a pattern to it and looks absolutely beautiful. The picture definitely didn't do it justice. It's made up of very high quality thick cardboard. Beautiful white with pattern design. And large enough for most parties I would say. The price is absolutely amazing. I've seen these at wedding specialty stores for 3 times more and they didn't look nearly this good or high quality. Once done, you can fold it up very easily and compactly and save for future events. I'm very happy with this purchase!

The Perfect Wedding Card Box....not cheesy! Sep 27, 2011

I was thrilled with this card box that I used at my wedding. I was looking for something very simple and not overly frilly or cheesy looking and this completely fit the bill. It was large enough to hold everything, very easy to assemble, very affordable and in my opinion very pretty. I would highly recommend this product!

The photo really doesn't do this box justice. As another reviewer has stated, it is much bigger and looks much nicer than what the photo shows.
If I had wanted the standard card box, this box would have worked just fine, as-is. But the best part is that I was able to customize this box to be exactly what I wanted. I simply bought some Japanese chiyogami paper that matched my wedding colors and glued it over the panels.
Voila, I had the perfect box with the exact pattern I wanted. I love this box!

I used this card box for my wedding and I wanted something simple and not cheesy like the other card box/mailbox/birdcage options I've seen. This fit the bill and the price was really great. I added silver ribbon around the top & bottom, which kind of made it look like a drum until I added a black & silver bow that came on one of the gifts that I received from my Macy's registry, and a small tag that matched our other wedding signage (I didn't use the ribbon or tags that came with the box). It looked really really great, maybe a little too great though because many guests just thought it was another gift on the table and didn't put their cards into it - so perhaps I should have made the sign a little more obvious or put it on the front of the box instead of the top?
My main complaint about the box is that the adhesive that is supposed to hold the sides to the bottom wasn't very strong and the box kept coming apart. So it isn't the most sturdy, but I suppose it could be beefed up with some glue, or you just have to be careful when you pick it up that the bottom will fall off. But otherwise, the price cannot be beat.

I got this box as a card/wish drop box for my wedding. It is really sturdy and beautiful. Surprisingly big. It comes with white ribbon, but i used my own blue ribbon to match with my wedding theme. Since it is white, it can be decorated to any color and theme. Really good. The eyelet at the top has a closing system from the underneath of the box. Good when using the box as a keepsake box or something. It has glued bottom edge and one side to stick to the base and the wall. Easy to set it up, within 2 minutes. The lid sits on tight and does not come off easily. If you need a card box, this is your choice. Its not even that expensive compared to other boxes.
